Herreshoff Catalogue Raisonné Search Tips

By default the search function searches for an exact phrase within the "Description" section of each document. This section is displayed with the search results and can be used to determine the most useful format for further search requests.
Note: Search within the "Type/Engine" section to explore vessel types and propulsion systems (engines, boilers, propellers). Searching for vessel types in the "Type/Engine" section will not include any model information, unlike the case of searching for vessel types in the "Description" section.
