Research Note(s)
"Nothing is known about this vessel except an entry in the American Yacht List for 1890-91. Note also, that no plans for 4in. stroke x 4in. bore steam engine exist in the Hart Nautical Collections at M.I.T. Further research should be conducted to determine if it really is a Herreshoff vessel." (Source: van der Linde, Claas. March 7, 2014.)
Note: Research notes contain information about a vessel that is often random and unedited but has been deemed useful for future research.
