Jancap was built in 1938 for Walter Bowman, and rented to Edmund Ferry, father-in-law of the current owner. It was named Spook at the time, and was bought a few years later by the Ferry’s and remains in the family. It has been repaired and has sistered ribs, but has never been fully restored.
